Switzerland, 2 oversize pocket watches in travel cases, the first with nickel plated case, bezel with convex glass, Arabic numeral, white enamel dial marked "Chronometre Magno", plum colored steel moon hands, one day stem wind and set 21 jewel nickel movement with cotes de Geneve decoration, gold jewel settings, cut bimetallic integral balance with large gold timing screws and blued steel hairspring with inner and outer terminal curves, contained in a mahogany box, with plaque marked "The Right Time", the second in a large pocket watch style case, bezel with beveled glass, Arabic numeral white enamel dial marked "Tamaya & Co. Tokyo 8 Days", blued steel hands, 15 jewel grained nickel movement with cut bimetallic balance, contained in a dovetailed hardwood traveling box with hinged easel for display, both c1910
CONDITION:
Chronometre Magno - case with minor scratches and some wear to plating, glass and bezel with glue residue, dial with glue residue, otherwise very good, hands good, movement with minor scratches and a bit of haze, oily and with specks of dirt, crown wheel with two broken teeth, winds, sets and ticks, box with dings and scratches, interior with split and old repairs, plaque with losses to plating. Tamaya & Co. - case with minor scratches, glass with a few minor scratches, dial very good, minute hand with some unevenness in color, movement with some scratches, winding wheels with minor oxide, specks of dirt and dust, gummy, winds and sets, wants to run, good staff, box with minor scratches and some residue on the top, interior very good with some dirt and fading
